I knew it was only a matter of time before I would have concrete proof that Ashley is indeed MY child. My mom got her Easter dress and so we had to "try it on" to make sure that it would work. It's more like a pageant dress than the typical Easter dress. It's pink, very beautiful and "princess-like."
When it came time to take it back off (and naked is how she prefers to be these days), you would have thought that we had cut her arm off. She DID NOT want that dress off. She thought she was so pretty and girly that she wanted to stay in it! I just couldn't believe the fit she threw. It came with a tiny replica intended to go on one of her baby dolls, so we tried to get her interested in that - to no avail. She wanted nothing but to have that dress back on. I can't wait til Easter and I can post pictures.
Now, she has started saying "I'm so cute!" But, I'm sure it's not because I tell her that all the time.
