Dora, Diego and mashed taters

Ashley is now officially addicted to television! She absolutely LOVES Dora the Explorer. When she sees her, she hollers "D D Dora!" She likes Go, Diego, Go as well and says her version of that too, which sounds more like Go Go Go. She is still very fond of the Backyardigans and in particular, Pablo. She always says "Hey, Pabo!" when it comes on and says, "Bye-Bye Pabo!" when it goes off. It is so precious!

Below are a few pictures I took yesterday while she was feeding herself mashed potatoes for the first time. She had a ball; and, then had a bath!

Ashley has a night-time routine. It consists of bath, putting on night clothes, brushing chompers, getting ba ba and paci, turning on her mobile and everything else in her bed and saying prayers with her Precious Moments angel. So, last night when we were saying our prayer: "Now I lay me down to sleep; I pray the Lord my soul to keep; May angels watch me through the night, and keep me in their blessed sight...Amen." Ashley repeated "amen" quite a few times. It sounded more like "mamen" but was adorable all the same. It was so precious that I nearly cried. I really hope she learns the meaning of prayer and always lets them come from her heart. I think that "mamen" is a good place to start!

Here are some pictures I took while we were in the nursery last Sunday. Ashley seems to like the boucny horse in there. Of course, she also seemed to like throwing a fit at one point for some reason...who knows!~ I think this is a great picture of Aunt Marynell and Grandmommie too!
