End of the half-way point

Oh, my gosh! Where has the year gone? I mean really, does it seem to everyone else that the first six months of the year have flown by? I apologize for not posting in so long, a lot has gone on.

First, my best friend Stephanie lost her brother in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was thirty years old and left behind two children (Trinity, 7 and Hayden, 5). Please keep Stephanie and all of her family in your prayers. This has been very, very difficult for them.

Secondly, I'm sure that all of you know that Grandmommie is in the hospital. Our prayers were answered when the diagnosis was not terminal. She has Pseudomembrane Coilitis, which is treatable and for that I'm so thankful!

Lastly, I have put my house on the market. I ask that you all pray for a quick sale in this unstable market. I also ask that you pray for the perfect place to be revealed to me to make a nice home for Ashley and me.

Ashley is quite the character. She is becoming very defiant (in the cutesy way) and constantly tells me, "No!" and tries to hit and bite me when she is told NOT to do something. She is also cutting her last two eye teeth, which has made her more ill than usual. I've included some pics of her from this morning, she sure is adorable! Enjoy!

Bibbet!

Ashley is acting like a frog and squatting down, attempting to hop and saying her version of "ribbet" which is actually "bibbet!" It is so precious. I have some video footage of it, but not a picture yet. She has gotten to where when she sees the camera come out, she won't do what she was doing that prompted you to get the camera out in the first place. I'll keep trying.

Here are a couple of snapshots just so everyone can see how she's growing. Enjoy!
