Ashley's J-Bird Turns 8!

We gathered together to celebrate Jason's 8th birthday yesterday. He is not just Ashley's cousin, but I believe they are best friends. They truly love each other SO MUCH!!! They share one other thing too...their love of ROOOLLLL TIDE!!!!

Ashley went to her dad's this weekend. They visited his brother, who lives on a lake. They went fishing, and Ashley caught a pretty good sized fish! With the look on her face, I'm not sure if she is excited or terrified!

 

 

It's Independence Day!

 Or, is it??? All I can say is that we wanted the rain to go AWAY!!! We felt like we were held pretty captive over this long, four-day  weekend, to the confines of four walls. While I don't mind getting rain regularly to avoid droughts and such, I would really prefer to have had four days off without having to be inside the whole time.
