I created this blog because Ashley is doing so much so fast these days! I thought it would be neat to have a place where everyone could check out all of her accomplishments whenever they wanted!
Hope you enjoy!!!
I know...it's like she is three years old and just getting her first haircut, but what can I say...the child wouldn't grow any hair!!! Anyway, not many pics of the actual cutting part because I simply can't operate a video camera and a regular camera simultaneously...enjoy!!!
First of all...I want to make an announcement: *AHEM* ASHLEY IS OFFICIALLY POTTY TRAINED!!!!! I could not be happier. It has been a long and often times completely frustrating process, but we finally have success!!!! YAY FOR ASHLEY!!!
She went with her Daddy and Mam Mam to Pensacola Beach for a family reunion last week. Here are some pictures from her first beach adventure. Hope everyone enjoys!
Chris, Ashley and I went to the Wild Life Rehabilitaiton Center at Oak Mountain State Park over the weekend so that Ashley could see some animals. Apparently, she thought his was going to be more like a trip to the zoo to see an elephant. Nonetheless, I believe that she had a great time.
On another note, please pray for us as we potty train. She is doing very well, for Vickie ("Mawmaw") and fairly well for me. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that this will be a smoother transition in the coming days. I'd like her to be out of pull ups and into panties within a month.
Well...here we go again! I should have known that it was too good for too long and it was bound to happen...We have managed to go for quite a while without Ashley being sick, but over the weekend she started getting chest congestion. What started off as a dry, almost unnoticable cough became very deep and chesty pretty quickly. We made it through the weekend, but we wound up in the doctor's office on Monday. She has bronchitis and was prescribed an antibiotic, a steroid and cough medicine. The cough medicine knocks her out, as you can see from the pics below. I have a feeling that she is sort of playing this up as much as possible though. She knows that if she pokes her lip out that she can get just about anything she wants! But, isn't it just the cutest little face???? Can you blame me, really????
Well, we all knew it was bound to happen...Ashley has a boyfriend. These are some pictures of her with my friend Amy's youngest little boy, Carson. Aren't they such a cute couple???
I'm 37 years old and have one daughter-the light of my life, Ashley Annabelle. She is so awesome and spunky. I love watching her grow up and develop her personality. She amazes me every day and I thank God that He gave me such a miracle!
